Here is another of my recent projects. My inspiration is the Restoration Hardware Dresser at the bottom of this post. I used a cottage white paint and Annie Sloan Dark wax to achieve this look. Mine is a third of the cost as well!
Well, I've decided to increase my space again! It is more open and easier to shop in. Thanks Jenny for all your help during the time when Maddox was born.
This dresser is my newest project. I used anitque white in the trim and sides and aged jade on the top and drawer fronts. I added crystal knobs with a bronze base. I finished the paint job off with Annie Sloan Dark Wax. It is very stunning! Oh, and is still available.
The grand opening for La Vie En Rose Cottage was Sat. Sept. 1 and today, Sunday. It was crowded with new and old customers, who all loved the new shop! Thanks for your support.

Exciting News! La Vie En Rose Cottage will be moving just down the road next to Blue Coast Burrito-Lenox Village. The grand opening is September 1. We will now have upfront parking and garage access with a covered breezeway. Visit the old location this week for super deals! Hope to see you soon.
I recently purchased a french provincial dresser and decided to refinish it like the picture below from Restoration Hardware. This dresser is often used in a nursery as a changing table. I hand painted, distressed, and put a dark wax on my dresser. I think it turned out great! Also, mine will be a third of the cost of Restoration Hardware.
I have now moved to a new bigger space in La Vie En Rose Cottage-Lenox Village (owner Jenny Light). I've been doing a lot more furniture now and am loving what I am doing! I still have ETSY going as well! I can't believe that I am almost 33 and just now finding my true passion and nitch! God is amazing...it's all in his time!
